**Who we need**

If so, we are looking for a Traffic Order Team Leader to support the development and management of the Games Traffic Management programme and help deliver an outstanding service for athletes, spectators and the West Midlands community working in collaboration with local highways authorities and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee.

Your role will be to develop and lead a Traffic Order team to draft Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders and related statutory notices to help deliver the Games traffic management operation at all the major Games sporting venues and on the Games Route Network. We are looking for someone with experience in building and leading teams and managing the drafting of Traffic Regulation Orders particularly in a local authority environment. You will have a thorough understanding of the legal requirements and processes behind preparing Traffic Regulation Orders and how these relate to the delivery of successful network management.

This role is vital to the successful delivery of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and you will have a key role to play both as part of Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) Games traffic management team and the wider West Midlands Games delivery agencies.

This is a remote working opportunity until a date is agreed for the WMCA workforce to return to our usual place of work at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham.
