**THE ROLE**

This individual will run an efficient, effective, and profitable operation under the leadership and direction of the Vice President. The individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and enforcement of the corporate standards of quality and performance in all phases of the facility operations.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

* Responsible for multi-unit operational budget, manage monthly P&L statements, and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate.

* Maintain strong working relationships with the client and business partners by providing leadership and direction for merchandise operations.

* Maintain and oversee management personnel to include developing, promotion, counseling, and performance evaluations.

* Establish prices and portions of products and services within approved fiscal plan.

* Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends regulations regarding OSHA, payroll, employment and EEO guidelines.

* Facilitate all union contracts and interact with union leadership to maintain a positive work environment.

* Verify, prepare, and submit reports/monthly projections as required as well as ensure effective systems for inventory, and payroll procedures in place.

* Work closely with multiple units to ensure all needs are met, and terms of contract are followed.

* Develop yearly operational budgets.

* Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree with a minimum of 5-7 years management experience in the retail industry, preferably for a sports and entertainment venue.

* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.

* Strong commitment to delivering a high level of customer and client service with demonstrated initiative, leadership, and management skills.

* Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

* Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Must be able to work in a team environment.

* Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures and POS Systems required

* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Must be compassionate, consistent, and fair to the needs of the employee and the Company.

* Must possess strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must be detail oriented, organized, able to work independently, prioritize and multi-task.

* Must be willing to contribute ad support fellow team members and venues with hands on approach to retail operations when needed or asked to maintain our business.

* Six to eight years of industry related experience.

* Must be willing to travel

**Training Requirements**

Proficient and highest level of knowledge of Legends systems, policies and procedures.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Supervises all Team members by assigning and directing work. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Physical Demands**

Position requires spending long hours sitting using computers. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds when setting up/tearing down event locations and participate in the teams inventory.

**Personal Protective Equipment:**

Personal Protective Equipment not required.

**Work Environment**

Position is located in a busy, open area office and is faced with constant interruptions.

Frequently works in a distribution center environment and occasionally at events. DC environment is not climate controlled. Exposed to dust, odors, and noise. Event locations are outdoors with exposure to the climate, dust, odors, and noise.
