We are currently seeking a Warehouse Lead. The successful candidate will have spent two (2) or more years in a warehouse environment, receiving, and shipping functions. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and possesses the physical and mental stamina this role requires. You will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency. * Coordinate all warehouse, order picking, and inventory operations

* Lead by example and foster the 6S and Safety culture within the warehouse.

* Work under supervision and direction of warehouse supervisor

* Help to efficiently carry out all picking, auditing, and delivery tasks

* Track incoming and outgoing orders and part shortages

* Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match picking documents.

* Inspect parts, locations, and orders for defects, damages, or missing items.

* Properly scan and inventory incoming goods

* Unload, stack, move, and place products in their appropriately designated areas

* Move and transfer products between various sections of the warehouse as needed

* Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods

* Perform and oversee detailed manual inventory counts

* Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval

* Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment as necessary

* Fulfill and track outgoing orders

* Collect, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment

* Double-check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders

* Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order

* Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management

* Train new employees and lead by example to follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

* Always adhere to health and safety rules and regulations

* Wear protective clothing and equipment as required

* Operate tools and machinery safely and efficiently according to company protocol

* Work with shipping, receiving, and project team members to effectively complete assigned tasks

* Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs

* Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped

* Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping

* Coordinate whit Logistics and inbound team for outbound shipping schedule.

* 3 years or more in a warehouse order picking experience

* Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training

* Physical stamina Without physical stamina, the Warehouse Lead will simply not be able to perform their job. This includes hours of walking, standing, and lifting each day. Able to work long hours on ones feet and perform physically demanding tasks. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

* Attention to detail Because you are charged with monitoring accurate order fulfillment and inventory. Warehouse Leads need to have a high level of attention to detail. This will enable them to keep track of order status and the availability of inventory.

* Communication skills Warehouse Leads regularly communicate with internal customers and other departments. Thus, they must have excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling them to lead meetings, send and reply to emails, and resolve team disputes.

* Basic financial skills Warehouse leads will need to keep track of parts on order and parts in inventory that are of high value to the company. For this reason, they must be able to understand and apply basic principles of financing and accounting.

* Organizational skills Since they are responsible and picking orders, maintaining 6S in their area, and managing multiple priorities. its important that Receiving Clerks possess excellent organizational skills.

* Computer skills Warehouse Management System, spreadsheet, and emails are part of the job. Therefore the Warehouse Lead must be an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and Word, along with 2 or more years using WMS with an applicable understanding of the relations of various transactions.

* OK with shift work and possible graveyard hours

* Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment

Education Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent

* Must be forklift trained and certified within 30 days of hire.
