**Description** This general warehouse position may be assigned to the shipping, order filling, or receiving/stocking function. Cross-training may require certification to operate powered equipment; including, tuggers, forklifts, high reach forklifts, shrink wrap units, both electric and manual pallet jacks. Staff members assigned to a general warehouse position should be prepared to work in any department for any duration of time based on business need.
As with all of the companys office or facility specific positions, being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition or employment and is an essential function of his position. Regular attendance is not only essential for a business to operate efficiently, but attendance and punctuality are good measures of your interest in your job and will impact your annual review.
**Education and Experience**
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Experience working in a warehouse environment
**Skills and Abilities**
Ability to follow safe work instructions and safety training
Ability to be certified on various powered equipment
Ability to meet or exceed productivity standards
Willingness to assist other departments and functions as necessary
Ability to work additional hours as necessary
Ability to perform simple math calculations
Ability to meet or exceed quality standards
Ability to stack or re-stack items onto a trailer for delivery
Ability to load and secure all outbound freight for delivery
Ability to complete all shipping paperwork and confirm accuracy
**Physical Requirements**
Must be able to repeatedly lift items ranging from 10-40lbs
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60lbs
Must be able to assist in team lifts from 75 lbs to over 100lbs
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop
Must be able to perform work at floor level, waist level or above shoulders
