Job Overview:
As a Vending Machine Restocker, you ll play a crucial role in ensuring that vending machines are well-stocked, functional, and ready to serve customers. Your responsibilities will include replenishing products, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing any technical issues related to the machines. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Product Restocking:
- Regularly check vending machines to assess inventory levels.
- Refill products (snacks, beverages, etc.) as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and prevent expired items.
- Machine Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize vending machines, including glass panels, coin slots, and product dispensers.
- Report any malfunctioning machines or technical issues promptly.
- Perform minor repairs (e.g., fixing jammed dispensers, replacing light bulbs).
- Cash Handling:
- Collect cash and coins from vending machines.
- Keep accurate records of sales and cash transactions.
- Reconcile cash collected with inventory restocked.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with product selection or refunds.
- Address customer complaints or concerns.
- Route Planning:
- Plan efficient routes to restock multiple vending machines within a designated area.
- Optimize travel time and minimize downtime.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Health and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols when handling heavy items or using equipment.
- Follow hygiene guidelines while handling food products.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of restocking activities, machine maintenance, and cash handling.
- Submit reports to supervisors as required.
Qualifications:
- Physical fitness (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude (for minor repairs).
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation
- Good driving record.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily indoors, servicing vending machines at various locations (offices, schools, factories, etc)
- Exposure to varying temperatures (especially if machines are placed outdoors).
- Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying heavy boxes.
Schedule: Some days and hrs flexible.
- Mon - 8-10 hrs
- Wed - 4-5 hrs
- Fri - 4-5 hrs
