Description
Mackin Educational Resources is a well-established, highly respected company that has openings for Bindery Machine Operators 1st Shift at its Topeka, KS Bindery.
Responsibilities
- Operate various bindery equipment which may include cutting, folding, scoring, stitching, and gluing equipment.
- Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Perform routine adjustments as well as perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift.
- Check order documentation, verify accuracy, and communicate order information and additional instructions to support staff to prepare for order production.
- Follow established manner to run product through assigned machine to produce expected quality and quantity.
Requirements
- Previous Bindery Machine Operator experience a plus.
- The ability to bend and lift 10-15 pounds continuously, stand during entire shift, use fingers, hands and arms continuously in controlled movement.
- Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere is necessary.
- The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
Education & ExperienceHours- Full-time - Days (7:00am - 3:30pm), Monday through Friday
- Weekends and Overtime as needed
