Harrison Law is a boutique law firm based in the Phoenix metro area in Arizona. We provide legal services for all business and their owners ranging from small tech start-ups to large multinational corporations. Our founder, Matthew Harrison, has 25+ years of litigation and trial experience involving a broad spectrum of business, corporate, partnership, commercial, surety, environmental, fidelity (insurance) law, and construction law disputes. Our litigation portion of the practice often involves complex multi-party cases involving corporations and individuals. Our office is located close to the Mesa Gateway airport inside a dynamic technology and international business zone.
We re building a team of job-juggling, plate-spinning, people-oriented legal and administrative professionals who can help accelerate Harrison Law's growth. These multi-talented individuals are willing to jump in wherever they re needed, viewing no job as too big or too small, always willing to take on a new challenge. They are foundational to the success of the firm.
As a new part within our growing firm, everyone who joins our firm is offered the flexibility and autonomy they need to get the job done, while also expected to collaborate with every person necessary to finish the work deemed most important. The tasks may vacillate from day-to-day, but the underlying principle of the work will not: find a way to get the job done, represent our legal clients effectively, help the firm grow, and achieve success.
The Operations Manager will report directly to the principal owner of the firm, but works across all functional areas.
Operations Manager Description
Everyone who joins Harrison Law is responsible for creating value, regardless of their role, but that looks a little bit different for everybody. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible to:
Enable, support, and serve our attorneys and legal support staff
Conduct brief, regular meetings with the principal owner to plan what needs to be done
Look for opportunities to implement automation, systems, and processes everywhere to make the firm more efficient
Help develop and implement expansion of business plans
Submit, review, and reconcile business reports, billing, payments, and other financial matters
Create and coordinate website, email, social media and other marketing campaigns
Help improve our employees journey through developing our recruiting, hiring, and onboarding systems--including interactions with payroll, benefits, and other essential employee matters
Solve operational problems with a people-first mindset
Develop and maintain organizational systems
Write, record, and synthesize training materials that support our internal processes as a firm
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Review and maintain sensitive financial and legal information
Interact with bookkeeper and CPA
Order office equipment, supplies, and other miscellaneous items, as well as research new deals and suppliers for procurement
With other firm personnel, organize and schedule virtual and in-person appointments, helping our team and other teams productively prepare for those meetings
Juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines
Exercise an ability to follow-through on all projects and drive them from inception to completion with a great attention to detail
Provide general support to clients and prospective clients when needed
Contribute as well as assist in special projects and administrative assignments as needed
Detail actionable plans that clarify what to do within a time-bound period and who is responsible for each task
Share your wins, failures, and adjustments with the firm to help everybody learn and improve

Salary is Based on Experience. Experience in a law firm setting is not required. Benefits also available.
