Location: Dallas, Texas (Onsite 3,4 days/ week)

General Description: We are seeking a visionary Principal Data Scientist to spearhead the development of an innovative pricing engine. This role involves leading a dynamic team of data scientists and AI engineers to build a cutting-edge pricing engine tailored for our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will not only contribute to the conceptualization of the application but also drive the technical team towards successful execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine the vision for a next-generation analytics product.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to align project vision.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and AI engineers.

Easy way of working with Data scientists and Azure Engineers offshore in large teams

Working with IT teams on Technical AI architecture

Work with Engineers, Designers, Healthcare domain experts (Preferable), finance functional business analysts in an inter-disciplinary fashion

Managing program timelines

Steer-co program management

Propose services needed

Work with ecosystem Microsoft, Databricks, Mongo regularly to optimize latency/ performance of business applications due to AI models

  • Design and implement forecasting models using linear and non-linear regression techniques.
  • Apply optimization methods to enhance model performance.
  • Code and review complex algorithms in Python to drive data-driven solutions


Required Experience and Knowledge:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in data science, applied AI-ML
  • Proven experience with forecasting, linear and non-linear regression analysis.
  • Solid understanding or hands-on experience with optimization algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strong programming and development skills in Python.

Extensive experience in both generative AI and discriminative AI & ML techniques

RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)

developing and fine-tuning models capable of efficiently retrieving and incorporating information from large knowledge sources, such as databases, documents, or pre-trained language models.

Agents

LLM (Large Language Model based Solution Techniques)

  • Prior experience in leading and managing a data science team.
  • Extensive experience in generative AI tools and principals.

Should be able to work and manage a distributed and cross-functional team for large complex analytical programs

Should have the consulting ability to be a strategic partner for the client and internal stakeholders


Nice to Have:

  • Background in pricing and pricing optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with the Pharmaceutical industry and its analytical challenges.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry


Qualifications:

  • Master s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.


Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $180,000 - $210,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a free time PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
