SCOPE OF POSITION
The Position description is only to be used as a guide. It does not constitute any type of contract between the agency and employee. At the agency's discretion, the description may be changed and additional duties, qualifications or requirements may be added at any time. This position will demonstrate competency in the care of the (Circle all that apply): Neonate, Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric patient population.
The individual is responsible for the development and daily operation and promotion of the FCN Program in his/her assigned facility. Maintains complete and accurate activities based on assessed needs in the facility.
Due to the exposure to patient information, the ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
This position may be required to cross train within the agency. Responsibilities in secondary position may require access to medical records and other computer access exceeding routine computer usage. Access to patient information may be necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role: therefore, adherence to Ballad Health's privacy and security policies and practices is a must.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.Must have at least 2-5 years nursing experience. Demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities preferred. Must successfully complete FCN orientation.
Must be licensed as a RN in the appropriate state with the Board of Nursing. Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and complete required continuing education programs and competency evaluations.
