Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information.
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  • Ensure all help desk activities are carried out in accordance with Performance Work Statement Sections 5.1.3.1, 5.1.3.2, and 5.1.3.5 through 5.1.3.22, alongside all other requirements listed in the solicitation documents.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role.
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Security clearance may be required depending on project specifics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in IT, computer science, or relevant field is a plus.

Terms of Contract:
  • This is a full-time position for a term of 10 months under a Firm Fixed Price contract.
  • Work must be performed at the designated destination as required.
