While working safely, the Prep Utility/Beam Servicer services all preparation equipment (i.e., warpers, slashers, warper-sizer, etc.) as the primary material handler for raw materials, warp beams, loom beams, etc. Operates a variety of power industrial equipment including but not limited to a low lift, hoist & crane, and cart caddy. Assists creelers, as needed, during the creeling process. Will maintain correct sets of full section beams for slashing and load in slasher creel. Maintains a supply of empty loom beams and performs proper settings for loom beam width. Loads warps for entering department following FIFO system.
