We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Network Engineer, responsible for providing expert-level support and leadership in network services. The primary focus will be on designing, configuring, and integrating network technologies, as well as leading network projects for design and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer senior-level Tier 3 network services, resolving complex issues escalated from Tier 2 support groups. Proficient in identifying failing components and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide senior-level network design and debugging services to development teams, collaborating closely with developers to ensure the implementation of reliable, manageable, and secure solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a senior network engineer in a large international environment.
- Hands-on expertise in network design, engineering, monitoring, vendor management, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Cisco/Meraki LAN, WAN, and WLAN technologies, with strong configuration skills.
- Experience deploying and managing networks in the Azure cloud environment.
- Knowledge of Cisco security solutions, including ASA, Firepower, AnyConnect, and ISE, along with familiarity with other security technologies such as Fortigate and VPN.
- Experience with F5 load balancers and various modules (LTM, GTM, APM).
- Familiarity with networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings, including Zscaler and Silverpeak SDWAN.
- Working knowledge of network features and protocols such as TCP/IP, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, STP, VTP, Etherchannel, HSRP, GLBP, VSS/VSL, QoS, Multicast, 802.11n/ac, IPsec, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, NTP, HTTPS/SSL.
