Entech Staffing is seeking a Chemical Production Operator to work for a company located in Novi, MI.Pay Rate: $19.00-24.00/hr.Shift: 6am-3pmDescription: A chemical production operator is responsible for maintaining heavy machines and equipment for chemical processing operations. Chemical production operators inspect machinery for any malfunctions, perform immediate repairs if able, and replace defective components as needed to ensure the equipment's safety and efficiency. They carefully handle chemicals, observe the mixing process, and support process development by assisting on strategic procedures to maximize productivity and plan initiatives. A chemical production operator must adhere to the safety protocols of the production, especially on storing chemicals, recording information to the database, and operating machines.Responsibilities: Operating machines and mixing batches according to manufacturing instructions Maintenance of production equipment according to procedures Conduct daily quality inspections including measurements/data recording Package material accordingly Restock raw material properly per SAP work instructions Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process. Record information, such as ingredients, weight and temperature Assist in the process of unloading the drum trailer Troubleshoot issues with production equipment and processes Report accidents, safety violations, or other concerns Assisting in planning and improving processes Work with other team members to complete production process Perform 5S Daily housekeeping of the chemical production area Performs other duties as assigned KnowledgeSkills and Abilities: Basic math skills Understanding measuring devices Forklift operations Attention to detail Reliable Work well within a team environment Follow guidelines regarding health and safety Prior experience in a production/manufacturing environmentApply Today!INDT
