Summary
Under the direction of the Administrator or Housekeeping /Laundry Supervisor:
- Follows safe and efficient cleaning procedures to ensureall areas of the care center are maintained according to regulatory andinfection control standards
- Follows safe and sanitary laundry procedures to ensure allclothing/linens are cared for in an appropriate and efficient manner
- Safely and appropriately prepares, uses, stores, labels,and disposes of commercial cleaning and laundry products/chemicals and supplies
- Utilizes and maintains all commercial cleaning and laundryequipment properly and safely, following the operating manual instructions permanufacturer guidelines
- Interacts with team members, residents/tenants in apositive manner, accommodating daily schedules as possible, along with ensuringthat clothing and other personal items are delivered and accounted for in atimely manner
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by theAdministrator or Housekeeping / Laundry Supervisor
Qualifications / Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent, with experience workingin a healthcare setting preferred
- Must have knowledge and understanding of healthcarestandards related to cleanliness, sanitation, disinfecting, and infectioncontrol
- Must be self-motivated, possessing organization andtime-management skills in order to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced anddynamic work environment
- Must have good oral and written communication skillsspecific to the English language
- Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services(CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical andreligious accommodations when reasonable

Shift: Day Shift
Wage Range*: $13.00/hr-$14.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Pay: $0.15/per year up to ten (10) years
