As an On-Call SharePoint Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting SharePoint environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to respond to incidents promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor SharePoint environments for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and potential failures.
- Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, patching, and system backups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement SharePoint solutions that meet business requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation related to SharePoint configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Engineer, with a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and functionality.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server, including installation, configuration, and administration.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365 services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
- Familiarity with SQL Server and database administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate are a plus.
