As we start on rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant.
Position Overview
JetCool Technologies is seeking a high performing, creative, hard-working Accountant to execute all processes in the accounts payable, payroll and customer billing functions of the company. These will include processing all vendor invoices, credit card transactions and employee expense reports, as well as customer invoices and cash receipts and managing day to day activities with vendors and employees. Additionally, the Accounts Payable/Billing Accountant will assist in the preparation of general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for Accounts Payable including, but not limited to the following:
- Match purchase orders packing slips and invoices.
- Data input of all invoices, credit card payments, expense reports and other documents.
- Prepare A/P payments.
- Process vendor discounts.
- Answer all vendor inquiries.
- Maintain all files (vendor, 1099, email box, vendor contracts), including scanning and saving of all documents.
- Obtain approvals for vendor invoices without purchase orders.
- Prepare analysis of A/P accounts and research G/L reconciling variances
- Provide A/P forecast for cash planning.
- Bring up to date and maintain Uninvoiced Receipts Report
- Review A/P process and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience working in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in a high-growth manufacturing company.
- Bachelor s degree in accounting preferred.
- Working in the technology industry is a plus.
- Citizenship is required.
