Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bolted Tank Foreman to lead our tank installation crews and oversee the construction of bolted steel tanks. The Bolted Tank Foreman will be responsible for coordinating all on-site activities, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Job Duties
- Lead and supervise installation crews in the construction of bolted steel tanks, including tank erection, bolt torqueing, sealing, and other related activities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that construction projects are completed according to specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee all on-site activities, including safety inspections, quality control, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure that work is performed safely and effectively.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any issues or delays that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily progress reports, safety inspections, and any changes or deviations from the original plans.
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ensure that all equipment and tools are properly maintained and used in accordance with safety regulations.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum five-years' bolted tank experience or equivalent required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in equipment operation, assembly and construction of steel structures or concrete is preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage crews and coordinate on-site activities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as operating heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, cranes).
- Must be able to pass site-specific background checks and drug screens.
