Role Description:

The Podcast Production Coordinator plays a crucial role in the orchestration of the #SystemsChange podcast series. This role requires a dynamic, organized, and passionate individual who can oversee the entire production process, ensuring seamless coordination between various teams and stakeholders. As the backbone of the podcast production team, you will manage workflows, deadlines, and the overall quality of the podcast, contributing significantly to its success and impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the podcast production timeline, from initial concept through recording, editing, and release. Ensure all components are aligned with the project's vision and deadlines.
  • Team Coordination: Act as the central point of communication between content creators, audio engineers, guest speakers, and marketing teams. Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and resolve any production-related issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor the production process to ensure the final product meets CrowdDoing's standards for content depth, audio quality, and overall listener experience.
  • Feedback Integration: Coordinate with the editorial and technical teams to implement feedback from pilot episode reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and audience engagement.
  • Resource Management: Identify and allocate resources effectively, including volunteer staff, technical equipment, and software, to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Contribute ideas for enhancing the podcast's format, content, and distribution, keeping in line with CrowdDoing's mission and the evolving interests of our audience.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably in media production or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of motivating and coordinating a diverse volunteer team.
  • Familiarity with podcast production processes, including recording, editing, and publishing.
  • A passion for systemic change and a strong alignment with CrowdDoing's mission and values.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

It is a platform that collaborates with professionals and volunteers from various industries to bring about systemic change in social, economic and environmental challenges. CrowdDoing aims to support social innovations with transformative impact potential through global multi-disciplinary volunteering, micro-leadership, and service learning. We are looking for a Volunteer Podcast Production Coordinator to join our team.


Role Description

This role is a remote and volunteer based. The Volunteer Podcast Production Coordinator will be responsible for the following:


  • Communication with the host and guests of the podcast
  • Production planning of each episode
  • Production Management of each episode
  • Project Management to ensure deadlines are met
  • Organization of podcast materials and files


Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with all parties involved in the podcast production
  • Experience in production planning, production management and project management
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain podcast materials and files
  • Experience in podcast production is a plus
  • Proficient in using audio software for recording and editing
  • Ability to work independently and remotely


Qualifications in media or communication would be beneficial. Experience with volunteer work and passion for social impact would be preferred.
