Responsibilities

A growing medical device company, in the Needham area, is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. The Accounting Manager will be a hands-on manager and assist in upgrading policies and procedures to poise the company for additional growth. The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting/Finance and be responsible for the following:

Ownership of the month end close and general ledger
Financial reporting and analysis
Assist with implementing policies and procedures and put infrastructure in place
Analysis of balance sheet accounts
Oversee, develop, and mentor accounting staff
Support the external audit

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience

BS degree required
5+ years of related experience
Excellent communication skills
Biotech/Manufacturing industry experience desired
Strong management/mentoring abilities

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 plus bonus
