Day to day:
Insight Global is looking for TS Test Engineers to sit fully onsite in Chantilly, VA. They will be responsible for translating the government customer s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting design specifications, statements of work, requirements, scripts, and test cases. Their environment will revolve around cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience testing or developing software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
- Experience designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results
- Experience creating and updating automated test cases or scripts
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
- Experience with test methodologies, software release cycle, test effort estimation, and tracking
- Experience with Linux or UNIX environments
- Experience generating and managing test data
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with programming in Java
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG
- Experience with Load or Performance testing, including tools like JMeter
- Experience testing Cloud-based architectures
- Experience with an Agile release methodology
- Experience in backend testing, API testing, UI testing, and DB queries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
- Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor s degree in CS or an IT-related field
