DescriptionOur clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor). If you're interested in advancing your mental health career, apply today!Compensation: $50 - $75 hourly range based on billingResponsibilities Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning Aid with crisis intervention for patients when they are in a state of distress Offer community resources or specialists to patients and family members who are experiencing difficulties Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs Assess patients' mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff membersQualifications Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc. Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required High school diploma or GED and a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
