**YOUR LIFE AS A WATER AND SEWER LABORER**
In this position, you play a key role in our underground water and sewer work. One of your primary jobs is to locate the pipes that need our attention. You then operate the mini excavator or undertake directional drilling, depending on the problem. When possible, you use lining and bursting to fix the issue because these techniques don't require that the pipes be unearthed.
Sometimes you assist a master plumber. Other times, you do the plumbing yourself. Either way, you work hard and enjoy seeing the relief in our clients' faces when you solve a worrisome problem. As you do your job, you often get dirty, but that's all part of the fun! Plus, you know that the work you do is essential to our customers and to the infrastructure of our community. You are proud to have such an important job!
**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**
* 2+ years of experience in underground infrastructure
* Proficiency in equipment operation, safety, and repair
* Driver's license
* Ability to pass a background check upon hire
