Customer Sales Representative - Brokerage & Asset Based

Our client is looking to add a Customer Sales Manager Brokerage to their

expanding team.

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Understand current market trends, seasonality, and industry updates.
  • Prospect leads and perform heavy cold calling to build pipeline.
  • Develop amiable, genuine, and supportive relations with drivers on a personal and professional level and collaborate with other departments to solve their problems.
  • Source dedicated lanes for seasonal downtime.
  • Negotiate rates with clients for maximum profit.
  • Work closely with the operational staff to ensure customers needs and expectations are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Owner/Chief of Staff.

Experience:

  • Five years of experience in a comparable work-related field.
  • Three years of experience in transportation/logistics management. Bachelor s Degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer software applications word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and industry-related load board software.
  • Verbal skills to convey complex information and procedures in a clear, professional manner.
  • Strong writing skills prepare reports, instructions, and informational material used in the conduct of the Organization s business.
  • Basic math skills to perform essential functions for accounting and quoting jobs.
  • Reading skills to comprehend complex documents and the ability to interpret and communicate their meaning. Ability to multi-task, prioritize among competing tasks, and use critical thinking skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and ethics working amicably with the Owner, the Chief of Staff, Office Staff, Drivers, & Entertainment Staff. Possession of a valid driver s license.

This position offers a competitive base salary.
