We provide next-generation power management electronics and software for heavy duty electric-drive vehicles. As a Ford eQVM approved supplier, Motivs family of Electric Powered Intelligent Chassis (EPIC) are available for a number of different medium-duty vehicle configurations including walk-in vans, box trucks, work trucks, shuttle buses, school buses, trolleys, and other specialty vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced Electro Mechanical Assembler to work in our Hayward, California manufacturing site. In this line position reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising factory floor activities that produce Motivs ePCS system components. Your ability to work with electronics and component assemblies; and to supervise the work of others help us continuously improve the reliability, assembly, and quality of the companys products.

We are looking for candidates that are ready and excited to take on the many responsibilities associated with running a hi-tech production facility. Your success at Motiv will be determined as much by your passion and self-motivation as by your skills and knowledge.

Compensation in the form of an salary package will be based on your skills and experience.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities****:**

* Function as an assembler in a complex box build operation.

* Follow the assembly processes in pursuit of overall quality and cost reduction with adherence to established standards, methods and procedures

* Support area manager in establishing standards, methods and processes as required.

* Make suggestions for overall product quality and cost improvements.

**Required skills and Experience:**

* Good communication skills

* Knowledge of standard assembly tools, including air tools, electric drivers, torque tools and crimp tools

* Some experience with sealed and ruggedized assemblies.

* Familiarity with high power assembly environment

* Good problem solving/analysis skills

* Experience with standard office computer programs to record assembly activities and reference assembly instructions.

* Some travel may be required.

* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 30 pounds.

* General Education Diploma extra schooling in related fields

* 3+ years in complex electronics assembly testing

**Work Environment:**

* Combination of Plant and Office Environment.

* Occasional exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals within OSHA and California work environment statutes.

* Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
