We are looking for a motivated Production Lead to join our growing team JOB PURPOSE The Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production line, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. SCHEDULE Monday Thursday, 5:00AM 3:30PM JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY Oversee the day-to-day activities and performance of the production crew. Promptly address and resolve workplace conflicts when necessary. Ensure all corrective actions and reworks are documented and communicated to management through a Corrective Action Plan (CAP). Conduct and oversee the training of new team members to ensure consistency and quality of information. Direct the setup of the production line, clarifying roles and responsibilities. Initiate quality control checks at the start of each run and complete all required checklists. Maintain meticulous records on weight sheets and ensure all entries are complete before submission. Coordinate regular quality control inspections and sign-off on all documentation. Monitor and record any damaged materials or leftover raw materials, ensuring issues are addressed promptly to reduce waste and inefficiency. Ensure regular cleaning schedules are adhered to for all equipment and machinery to maintain operational standards and compliance. Execute and oversee end-of-day cleanup and setup for the next shift, ensuring adherence to 5S methodology. Frequently/required to lift/push/carry items 50-75 pounds. Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather). Continually work near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions. Occasionally loud noise (examples: metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment).
