Back of The House, the restaurant management group behind some of San Francisco's most unique concepts and favorite neighborhood spots, creates concept-driven restaurants that encompass the spirit of their San Francisco neighborhoods. Some of our restaurants include Tailor's Son, Beretta, Wildseed, Flores, Delarosa, Super Duper, Uno Dos Tacos, & The Bird.
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team out of our home office. You will be responsible for implementing social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of each restaurant s social media channels. Candidates must have a passion for hospitality and understanding using social media as a communications tool and experience managing multiple brands. This candidate will have the unique opportunity to learn and grow in their marketing career in the dynamic restaurant industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Working with our marketing department to develop social media content plans that are consistent with each restaurant s brand identity.
- Implementing consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts.
- Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Expertise in Social Media Platforms, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Marketing Event Coordination
- Manage all social channels, engaging with existing and new followers, relevant influencers and press, while building brand awareness and reach for all restaurant brands
- Inform marketing efforts by researching customer behavior, market trends and other variables
- Basic graphic design knowledge, specifically with Canva and/or Adobe suite
- 3-5 years' experience working in social media management, community management, and content creation, preferably managing multiple brands at once
- Support in crafting branded collateral including signage, promotional materials, eblasts, social posts, etc. ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials
