Position Overview:

  • As a Hardware Asset Management Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a complex project comprised of multiple phases aimed at enhancing hardware asset management capabilities.
  • You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate closely with leadership to define project objectives, allocate resources, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in hardware asset management, and a proven track record of successfully leading multifaceted projects in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a comprehensive hardware asset management project consisting of multiple phases. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and leadership expectations. Be able to write and comprehend project plans
  • Project Planning: Lead discovery and project planning sessions, in areas of depending planning, risk foresight, and estimation
  • Team Management: Manage a team of engineers responsible for executing various phases of the project. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Set clear expectations for individual roles and responsibilities, and monitor team progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders and leadership to establish project priorities, goals, and success criteria. Communicate project status, risks, and challenges effectively to leadership, and solicit feedback to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and expectations.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively across different phases of the project, including personnel, equipment, and budgetary resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and dependencies associated with each phase of the project, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Proactively address issues and obstacles as they arise, and escalate critical issues to leadership for resolution when necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and standards for each phase of the project. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to project requirements and industry best practices, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality and integrity.
