What You'll Do: As an AP/Accounts Payable Specialist Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full-cycle AP/accounts payable process, from invoice processing to payment disbursement, with accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on handling a minimum of 200 invoices per week.
- Handling a high volume of invoices and vendor transactions promptly and efficiently, maintaining a keen eye on deadlines and priorities.
- Reconciling accounts payable transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, finance, and vendors, to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
- Assisting with month-end close activities and providing support for financial reporting as needed.
Who You Are: We're looking for a dynamic and proactive AP Accountant who possesses the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in HIGH VOLUME AP, accounts payable or related accounting roles, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
