Role responsibilities:
Do you have experience working in a design/build remodeling company and a knowledge of the whole remodeling process? Castle is looking for an Estimator that helps our design team with estimates and finalizing pricing before contract presentation. You will be vital support to Castle s amazing designers and help to ensure Castle s projects are estimated correctly. This position does some budget analysis when prospective clients send in plans and assists designers with cabinet reviews and orders.
Estimating
o Budget Analysis - Review for designers when complicated or questions.
o Budget Analysis - Train newer employees on how to use Estimator Excel spreadsheet.
o Manage Price lists Organize and analyze and determine what master estimator updates are needed.
o Final Pricing Work with designers and manage the ...@castlebri.com email address. With all bids that come in save/enter/read through to reconcile against scope. Look for missing items in scope.
o Final Pricing - Review material estimates (for cabinets and other materials in the scope - look up tile costs, things that will be purchased on-line, etc.
o Website estimates Annually update all projects on website with new pricing and PDF. Oversee Design Assistant who creates kitchen and bath estimates.
o Work with Design Team to be a valuable resource to help the team reach it s annual sales goal.
Cabinets
o Work with online cabinet pricing software (Crystal cabinets) to create an estimate.
o Review final order once job sells and Designer/PM provides me with measurements.
o Train new designers on crystal cabinet overview - pdf and Work Bench software and where to watch videos
o Complete special requests for cabinet pricing when not standard.
Qualifications/skills:
A basic understanding of the processes of design, construction, and residential remodeling.
Detail oriented, organized, efficient, flexible, excellent communicator. Can do attitude.
An ability to manage multiple projects and work with various employees simultaneously.
Experience making selections with clients and ordering materials preferred.
Normal M-F, 8-5 business hours
This is a office/remote hybrid position. Can expect a mix of working from home/remotely and traveling between various showrooms.
You will be reimbursed for mileage with some restrictions.
