Controller (Lynchburg, VA) (Direct Hire)
Kelly Services Skilled Professional Solutions (SPS) is actively seeking a Controller for a direct hire, permanent position with one of our top clients based in Lynchburg, VA. The role is onsite.
As a Controller placed with Kelly Services, you will serve as an integral member of our client s Accounting Department. Primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements and month end close; ensuring US GAAP and SOX compliance; and overseeing the Financial Reporting team. You ll supervise six direct reports, including several international Controllers.
Qualified candidates will have a CPA or MBA and a strong background in manufacturing. While manufacturing experience with a global, publicly traded company is ideal, candidates from small, privately held manufacturing organizations will also be considered. SOX compliance experience is preferred but not required. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are needed, as this role is highly visible and will partner with other departments.
