Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Investor Communications & Marketing, the Analyst will work as part of the Investor Communications and Marketing Group (ICM), with specific responsibility for sales and marketing support for the Managing Directors, Relationship Management. It is expected that the Analyst will, in due course, become a junior point person for certain prospects and consultants. ICM is an integral part of the Relationship Management (RM) department, which is responsible for developing business relationships with prospective institutional investors and investment consultants and supporting the servicing of institutional clients. The Analyst will work closely with different members of the broader team, as well as with other departments as needed.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Providing sales support to Relationship Managers and assisting in prospect and consultant efforts
  • all sales support tasks including, but not limited to, arranging pre-meets, putting together prospect and consultant meeting briefs, taking meeting minutes, creating pitch books, printing and binding presentation materials, coordinating internal meetings, and maintaining distribution lists
  • with existing client servicing requirements, as necessary
  • consultant databases and undertaking broader ICM quarterly updates, as required
  • quarterly eVestment competitor analysis for focus strategies, and using data to identify market trends
  • to RFP and client DDQ assignments
  • Managing and upkeeping CRM system, including regular activity screening to assist with the prospecting process
  • Developing, formatting, and proofing marketing collateral, ensuring appropriate alignment with compliance and other internal procedures
  • Assisting with trip management and coordination, ensuring an efficient travel schedule and open lines of communication between RM, Portfolio Management, and Research

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor s degree in finance, marketing, communications, or related field
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of professional work experience
  • Strong academic credentials and skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Mature team player who can thrive in a fast paced, yet collaborative work environment
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and committed to quality work product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage time effectively with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive problem solver with ability to work independently
  • Strong sense of initiative, strategic thinking, and a desire to learn
  • Ability to create trust and respect with peers, and manage interdepartmental coordination
  • Superior CRM management skills
  • Experience of driving topical content based on client feedback
  • Experience of trend analysis and conducting market and prospect research,
  • Experience creating materials, preparing for meetings, and undertaking follow ups
  • Experience dealing with clients preferred but not required
  • Highest ethical standards

  • This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, CA which requires weekly attendance.
