Job Details

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:


  • Responsible for driving field sales team performance of selling equipment and/or services to existing and potential customers.
  • Implements and executes the annual sales goals as defined by the executive team, regularly reviewing sales figures and progress with their team.
  • Sets sales targets and quotas for the field sales team.
  • Ensures field sales team meets or exceeds sales objectives.
  • Establishes techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Holds regular field sales team meetings to share expectations, ideas, and best practices.
  • Will take part in business meetings or calls when negotiating larger opportunities.
  • Heads onboarding and on-the-job training for new account executives.

Participating in trade exhibitions/conferences.

Have an intimate understanding of the company s products/services and keep current with the latest industry trends and news.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


Education

  • Bachelor s Degree required


Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience and demonstrated success in managing a field sales team.Experience selling into the education, state/local government, or healthcare markets is preferred but not required.
  • Have extensive experience closing new business.
  • Experience selling high-technology equipment.
  • Be able to handle high-pressure situations and work in a target-oriented environment.
  • Extensive experience working in a CRM like SFDC.
  • Experience managing a complex sale process.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, in person and in a virtual environment.


Knowledge/Skills:

  • Great leadership skills with a coaching mindset
  • Self-motivated, data-driven, and proactive approach to managing a sales team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers/prospects.
  • Excellent phone, in-person, and written communication skills
  • Ability to present information in front of a large group.
