Job Description:

  • Understanding all aspects of NYC Health + Hospitals WTC EHC CCE and DC contracts with CDC/NIOSH clinical, operational, reporting and financial.
  • Preparing complex monthly contract invoices for both CCE and DC, including: collecting allowable PS and OTPS expenses from Central Office and three clinical sites; preparing invoices; allocating the contracts income among the facilities as appropriate; and reporting income to Central Office Grants Management.
  • Tracking and updating status of 160+ WTC EHC CCE & DC staff lines on the WTC EHC CCE & DC position spreadsheets
  • Developing and maintaining periodic reports, worksheets and budgets that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports to document contract and claims revenue
  • Preparing and updating WTC CCE and DC budgets as requested by funder and as required as part of the annual Health + Hospitals budgeting process for Central Office and three WTC EHC clinical sites
  • Managing the required staff Time and Effort reporting for the WTC EHC CCE and DC contracts
  • Contributing as appropriate to the World Trade Center DC and CCE monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports.
  • Collaborating with Central Office and facility staff of both the CCE and DC to assure that the WTC EHC meets NIOSH contract requirements.
  • Performing other functions and tasks as necessary to assure the smooth functioning of the WTC EHC and its compliance with NIOSH contract requirements.


Minimum Qualifications:

Educational and/or experience requirements will vary requiring diverse kinds and levels depending on the content, complexity and variety of project. Compensation levels will correspond to the requirements developed for the designated project.

In no event will the acceptable minimum be below:

1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in a specialization discipline consistent with project content; and,

2. Four years of substitutable and relevant health care experience related to the objectives of the project; or,

3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, training and education.

Department Preferences

  • A Master s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university,
  • 5+ years in budgeting/accounting preferred
  • Strong background in working with federal contracted/grant programs.
