Commercial Lines Account Executive - Hybrid
Qualifications
- Proficient in the client s industry and abreast of current events that may influence required coverages
- Mentor or supervise junior team members, including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers
- Thorough knowledge of available commercial lines coverages based on business classification, along with awareness of industry trends and client retention strategies
- Advanced problem-solving and solution-design abilities; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership through client support and advocacy, as well as mentoring and guiding junior employees
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation tools
- Proficient in agency management software with the capacity to quickly adapt to new systems and procedures

Responsibilities
- Collaborate on sales opportunities and develop expertise in the field
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, contributing to the growth and development of books of business
- Lead client meetings, including those held at client locations
- Act as the main client contact for assigned book of business, providing comprehensive support
- Manage challenging client communications, such as loss of coverage and claim denials
- Negotiate and sell lines of insurance to clients to enhance accounts as needed
- Design insurance and risk management plans for clients as directed by Agency management
- Oversee all audit, review, and claims processes for assigned book of business
- Analyze data to create client service plans, stewardship reports, and other relevant reports tailored to client needs
- Cultivate strong personal relationships with insurance carrier personnel
- Proficient in underwriting practices and capable of managing underwriting relationships
- Stay updated on changes in carrier offerings and policies, relaying information to the service team
- Collaborate with account team on agency renewal strategy
- Provide clients with Insurance Coverage Reviews and discuss methods of risk handling
- Identify and address gaps in coverage
- Work with producers to write new business
- Attend carrier functions to stay informed about new coverage options and risk assessment strategies
- Conduct book reviews to determine accounts needing in-person risk assessments or client meetings to support agency retention
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required
