Job Details
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Responsibilities
- - Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
- - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- - Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- - Maintain compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations and other legal requirements
- - Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
- - Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
- - Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support business growth and profitability
- - Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- - Provide financial guidance and support to other departments and senior management
- - Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
