Manufacturing Operations Manager

HTI is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a large manufacturer of industrial wood pellets located in Arkansas. Salary is dependent upon experience and education, and the range is approximately $140,000 - $160,000 / year.
What You Need:
Must have 5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager or Manufacturing Operations Manager in the wood pellet manufacturing industry.
College degree is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage production targets and P&L, while ensuring a safe work environment.
Strong background in operations and plant management, mechanical concepts, and a proven track record of successfully leading a team of 100+ employees in a manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of environmental compliance policies.
Must have advanced management and leadership abilities, as well as professional communication skills.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
What Your Role Will Look Like:
As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe target production of high-quality industrial wood pellets and maintaining compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Operational Leadership is required providing tactical and strategic direction to maintain the safe and efficient management of the facility.
Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Lead, motivate, and hold accountable a diverse team.
Drive a continuing culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement and conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching and oversee capacity building in our workforce.
Work closely with the EHS manager to conduct safety audits, drills, and procedures for a safe working environment.
