No Remote **ADMINISTRATIVE** **ASSISTANT Ocean Imports** **Position Summary:**

Based in my clients facility in Elizabeth, NJ. You will work collaboratively with the Ocean Import Operations group to provide general administrative assistance. You will report to the Head of Ocean Import Operations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Review and pay all demurrage and per diem related costs

* Posting all demurrage and per diem related costs and invoicing of same

* Monitor all incoming Ocean Import emails coming to group email, attach arrival notices to files and distribute to operations as needed.

* Any other general administrative duties as assigned by management.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

* Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours

* Must have a solid work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others

* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email

* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines,

* Accounts payable and/or invoicing experience.

**Education/Experience:**

* High school or GED

* Minimum 1-2 years experience

**Salary / Benefits:**

* **$40K - $50K Salary**
