Job Details
This role encompasses managing logistics for waste delivery, overseeing the warehouse management system, handling select procurement tasks, and managing all facility utilities. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining the sustainability and efficiency of the recycling operations.
Duties:
- Logistics and Warehouse Operations: Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics partners to efficiently schedule waste deliveries, optimizing logistics operations for cost and environmental impact.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee the warehouse management system, ensuring accurate tracking & producing reports and statistics regularly, inventory management (stock control and reconciliation with data storage system), and the overall organization of the warehouse (setting up layout and ensuring efficient space utilization).
- Maintain standards of health & safety, hygiene & security.
- Procurement and Utility Management: Procurement: Manage essential procurement activities, including negotiating with suppliers and purchasing necessary materials and equipment.
- Utility Oversight: Ensure all facility utilities are managed safely & efficiently, coordinating maintenance, cleaning, and service to support uninterrupted operations.
- Organize and plan building installments and refurbishments.
- Operations Support and Efficiency: Implement best logistics and warehouse management practices to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Supplier and Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring reliable service.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management, or facility operations, preferably in recycling or manufacturing industries
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen focus on details
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and procurement processes
- A commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency
- Fluent in English, with professional proficiency required
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
