Job Reporting Relationships

Supervised by: Sr. Wealth/Investment Sales Officer or Wealth/Investment Sales Officer Wealth Advisor

Supervises: None

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study or equivalent education and related work experience; Cannon Trust School (3-year program, one week per year) required, or successful completion within 3 years of hire; obtain and maintain appropriate Bank Product Knowledge Certification.

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; current and proficient knowledge of investment policy, products, and procedures and trust regulations; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required.

General Responsibilities

Responsible for providing both accurate quality service to customers and administrative support to Wealth Advisors; achieving goals as established in the Department's annual operating plan; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the trust administration function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

Essential Duties

1. Provides both accurate quality service to customers and administrative support to Wealth Advisors of which the following are illustrative:

a. Executes terms of client documents.

b. Manages the packaging and submission of trust documents in accordance with bank and department requirements.

c. Provides for the direct administration of assigned trust accounts in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

d. Provides superior customer service for accounts under administration, consistent with Customer Service Standards.

e. Conducts periodic meetings with clients to ensure superior communication.

f. Cultivates new sales within existing client base and referrals to new clients; coordinates customer referrals to and from the Community Offices.

g. Reviews Daily Transactions, approves bill payments, and approves other payments and processes discretionary request paperwork.

h. Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls; coordinates internal and external meetings for trust associates.

i. Maintains timely and accurate records; assists Wealth Advisors and other Wealth Administrators with sales and support and with calls on new and existing clients, as needed.

j. Processes account file maintenance to include filing; maintains files in good order.

k. Manages the supplies, equipment, and promotional resources of the office, as necessary, for the efficient operation of trust services.

l. Provides clerical support as needed.

m. Answers customer questions regarding bank products and services with emphasis on trust service products.

n. Assists in selling deposit and loan products as necessary.

o. Sends out Just a Note cards and courtesy cards to clients.
p. Prepares management and Board of Directors reports as required.

q. Participates in community activities as it relates to the successful completion of primary duties.

r. Performs other related duties as assigned.

2. Achieves goals assigned to the Wealth Administrator as part of the Department's annual operating plan.

3. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

4. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.

5. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

6. Communicates with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.

7. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

8. Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.
