Position Summary:

The Dunes Edge Campground ranger supports the daily operations and maintenance of Dunes Edge Campground and its camp spots as well as retail and recreational operations. The Dunes Edge ranger supports the manager in providing a safe, clean and enjoyable visitor experience for campers and ensuring that the campground is operating efficiently and effectively.

Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

In This Role You Will:

Essential Functions:

  • Support campground operations, including the maintenance of facilities, grounds and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
  • Support development and maintenance of campground policies and procedures, including safety protocols
  • Process reservations, handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Support marketing strategies to attract new customers, including use of social media accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by regularly seeking feedback and addressing concerns


Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in hotel operations campground or retail management is a plus
  • A satisfactory criminal background (CORI) check
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and some overnights.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of campground operations and regulations.
