POSITION SUMMARY[1]
A VASP Janitor scrapes/sweeps/mops clean food, beverage, and/or drug processing plant floors, which are operated by the employer's customers, to meet Quality Control and Bacterial Standards imposed by the customer and applicable governmental agencies. Due to the nature of this work, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES
To be qualified to perform a VASP team member job, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Attends safety meetings at the beginning of the shift
* Puts on safety gear prior to beginning duties. Contacts Supervisor to inspect safety gear.
* Obtains assignments from Supervisor of what area to clean.
* Retrieves cleaning supplies and cart from storage room.
* Squeegees up meat scraps and scoops them into barrels.
* Weighs barrels and dumps them into the inedible vat or auger.
* Mixes cleaning solution into bucket/hosing equipment.
* Mops office and Welfare Areas floors.
* Connects hoses to water source and turns on water.
* Sprays equipment, floors, and pen areas of debris.
* Scrubs equipment to remove debris with a green pad and cleaning solution.
* Sprays equipment for a final rinse.
* Ensures area, including the ceiling, is dry prior to production. Inspects area to ensure it is clean.
* Wear employer-specified PPE (gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses, etc.).
JOB PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Team members are considered to be qualified (fully trained) when they achieve satisfactorily the following categories:
* Safety- Understanding and compliance all of the safety policies covered during training.
* Chemicals- Understanding of chemical types, labeling, PPE and warnings regarding to mixing chemicals.
* Pace-Work at a acceptable speed to deliver the plant on time.
* Attendance- Dependability in both: arriving and completing the work shift and compliance with attendance policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Accountable for his/her own actions, ability to take direction and instruction from managers, prompt and timely, safety awareness, attention to detail, ability to focus on tasks at hand, adaptability, communication with peers, strong work ethic, ability to wear personal protective equipment, ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations. RESUMEN DE LA POSICION[1]
El conserje VASP raspa/barre/trapea comida limpia, bebidas y/o pisos de plantas procesadoras de drogas, las cuales son operadas por el cliente del empleador para cumplir con el control de calidad y los estndares de bacterias impuestos por el cliente y las agencias gubernamentales que aplican. Debido a la naturaleza de este trabajo. Usted debe tener 18 aos o ms para aplicar.
FUNCIONES ESENCIALES/ LABORES DEL TRABAJO
Para cualificar para la realizacin del trabajo del miembro del equipo VASP, el individuo debe ser capaz de realizar cada una de las funciones esenciales de manera satisfactoria, con o sin acomodacin razonable.
* Asistir a reuniones de seguridad al principio del turno.
* Colocarse equipo de proteccin antes de comenzar sus tareas. Contactar al supervisor para revisar el equipo de seguridad.
* Obtener asignaciones del supervisor sobre que rea limpiar.
* Recuperar suministros de limpieza y carros del cuarto de depsito.
* Limpiar con la escobilla de goma los trozos de carne y colocarlos dentro de barriles.
* Pesar barriles y verterlos dentro del taladro de incomestibles.
* Mezclar soluciones de limpieza dentro de las cubetas/ equipo de manguera.
* Trapear oficinas y pisos de las reas de bienestar.
* Conectar mangueras a los recursos de agua y encender el agua.
* Rociar equipo, pisos y reas de escombros.
* Refregar equipo para remover escombros con la almohadilla verde y solucin de limpieza.
* Rociar el equipo para el enjuague final.
* Asegurar que el rea incluyendo el techo, estn secos antes de produccin. Inspeccionar el rea para asegurar que est limpia.
* Utilizar el PPE especfico del empleador (guantes, careta, goggles, delantal, botas, gafas de seguridad).
MEDIDAS DE REALIZACIN DEL TRABAJO
Los miembros del equipo son considerados como cualificados (totalmente entrenados) cuando ellos alcanzan de manera satisfactoria las siguientes categoras:
* Seguridad- Entendimiento y seguimiento de las polticas de seguridad discutidas durante el entrenamiento inicial.
* Qumicos- Comprensin de los diferentes tipos de qumicos, su etiqueta, el PEE y las advertencias acerca de la mezcla de qumicos.
* Ritmo de trabajo- Trabajar a una velocidad considerable con el fin de entregar la planta en el tiempo determinado.
* Asistencia- Incluye tanto llegar a tiempo y completar el trabajo de turno como seguir las polticas respecto a la asistencia.
Debido a la naturaleza de este trabajo. Usted debe tener 18 aos o ms para aplicar.
