The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Inventory Control team, clearing daily cycle counts, reviewing and correcting picking issues, replenishment put away issues, and new item dimensional build out for new items. The Inventory Control Supervisor will also participate in developing inventory control procedures including documentation recoding protocols and pick face optimization plans in cooperation with the DC Operations Manager. They adjust inventory per protocols and review critical approvals of inventory adjustments.

**Responsibilities include:**

* Directing the tasks related to inventory control and cycle count activities within the facility.

* To execute the strategic inventory plan and to supervise the processes developed by the Executive management department to align with the corporate objectives.

* Experience managing inventory activities including research/investigations, cycle counting, kit assembly and slotting.

* They monitor the inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials. Verifying, tracking, and reporting on inventory accuracy.

* Coordinate the activities related with keeping accurate records on cycle count variance daily, weekly, monthly, and providing solutions.

* Their role involves using discretion and independent judgment for directing the activities of inventory projects, daily and otherwise to the processing teammates in the inventory control department. As dictated by the facility Inbound Manager.

* To provide the necessary guidance and project execution that is associated with building and maintaining a strong inventory management workforce.

* Supervise the activities of all the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy as dictated by the Inbound Manager.

* To execute the strategic inventory plan and to supervise the processes developed by the Executive management department to align with the corporate objectives for inventory accuracy and reporting. This includes participation and contribution to all improvement projects.

* To review the current inventory positions for the raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and to provide monthly summary of the same and to present it during month end close protocols or as directed by Inbound Manager.

* To review current inventory location positions for raw material and finished goods and apply standard pick face optimization techniques to propose stock move processing to Inbound Manager.

* Contribute to other inventory related projects as directed.

* Contribute to other warehouse activities as needed and directed by Inbound Manager.

**Qualifications:**

* Demonstrated strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability with accuracy.

* Experience managing inventory activities including research/investigations, cycle counting, kit assembly and slotting.

* Will coordinate activity for AM and PM shift IC teams...work closely with replenishment teams.

* Manage the IC team with a high SKU environment of approximately 60K SKUs.

* 5+ years experience in distribution/ warehouse environment working in Inventory management role.

* High School Diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred)

* Strong ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and departments and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver them on time.

* A Demonstrated history of successful inventory control skill set and familiarity using Best Practice guidelines and procedures.

* Ability to participate in team training and direct coordinated activities of the inventory control processing team.

* Must focus on safety, quality, and integrity

* The ability to effectively manage the subordinates, supervise them, plan, organize and control the workflow in a team environment.

* Experience in ERP and WMS systems.

* Excellent verbal and written skills. Exemplary mathematical ability.

* Ability to be a team player and customer service driven.

* Exhibits initiative and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or work content.

* Highly experienced in Microsoft Office Excel desired but not required.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including, Word, Excel PowerPoint. Expert ability for Excel preferred but not required.

* Ability to lift 30 lbs. consistently throughout the day and stand for extended periods of time.

* Must be able to read at a distance close to the eyes and at arm's length, with or without correction.

* OSHA forklift certification preferred but willing to train on forklift, order picking and other warehouse equipment.

* This Is a physically demanding position which requires standing for extended periods, lifting products throughout the shift and repetitive reaching, pushing, and pulling tasks.

This is a full time position and will be based in our Suwanee, GA Distribution Center.
