Senior Administrative Assistant
Our client, a well-known Higher Education Institution, is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Administrative Assistant with 5+ years experience supporting high-level Leadership to manage and support the front office of a large department fully onsite in Boston. This position is a temporary 4-month assignment with potential for it to go permanent, prior to starting candidates must pass a background check.
**Applicants must be able to work onsite 5x/week in Boston to be eligible for this role.**

Responsibilities:
- Support Leadership with complex calendar management and weekly scheduling
- Manage calendars, coordinate logistics for internal meetings, and assist with office organization
- Attend high-level meetings; record, draft and distribute minutes
- Assist with planning and execution of events in collaboration with the dedicated Events Coordinator
- Collaborate with travel agencies/vendors to confirm itineraries and transportation logistics for domestic and international travel
- Create reports and reconcile receipts related to travel and related expenses
- Facilitate smooth day-to-day operations of the team
- Provide support/coverage for other administrative staff members when needed
- Maintain database and organize documents and files
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional Administrative experience supporting high level Leadership
- Prior professional Higher Education experience a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently to manage responsibilities
- Strong technical skills including experience with PC computers, databases, and Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)
