VACANCY NOTICE: Substitute Lunchroom/Playground Aide - 3.0 Hours Per Day (Elementary)
POSTING DATE: November 2, 2021
POSITION: Up to 3.0 Hours Per Day 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
DUTIES:
General responsibility of the lunchroom/playground aide is to supervise students during their lunch and recess periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have or to be able to obtain a Student Supervision Aide Permit or Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education
* Training and/or experience in maintaining the safety of students while serving as a positive role model
* Ability to work in a fast paced child-centered environment
* Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students
* Ability to accurately follow directions
* Ability to work with all students, school staff and parents
* Willingness to implement specific discipline/behavioral management plans
* Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters
* Willingness to work cooperatively with others
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates (unless current employees) must pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
