Job Overview
The Project Enablement Lead will manage a small group of developers who will enable the commissioning teams to create and validate the emulations required for Bastian Customer projects. This key activity involves building the emulation deployment capabilities outside the product development team. The Project Enablement Lead, will be responsible for the emulation portion of customer commissioning schedules, ensuring the correct capabilities are available in the emulation product, and supporting the commissioning teams when they encounter challenges with the emulation product. Your role, along with the other key stakeholders, will be instrumental in defining the backlog of required components, capabilities, and bug fixes.
This is a 100% remote position, but the candidate must be legal to work in Canada or the US, preferably located near Kitchener, Ontario, Canada or Louisville, Kentucky, United States.
General Job Duties
- Manage a small group of developers and perform subsequent administrative tasks
- Maintain and coordinate software commissioning milestones (as applied to emulation)
- Enabling the software QA team to create emulation models and build emulation testing capabilities
- Ensure emulation is inserted into the project commissioning pipeline, budgeting for cost and time.
- Track KPIs of the effectiveness of emulation within the project commissioning pipeline
- Advocate for features that would reduce emulation commissioning times
- Prioritize the Project Enablement team's efforts to support the project commissioning pipeline
- Track both defects and feature requests for customer projects
- Meticulously track and analyze escaped defect information
- Ensure all requested changes have clear acceptance criteria
- Schedule and conduct release readiness reviews
- Act as the voice of the Bastian commissioning teams within the emulation community
- Publish weekly project progress reports
- Document and monitor project risks
- Customer demos during the commissioning phase
- Attend regular project meetings, keeping emulation deliverables on track
- Support the program manager in preparing and delivering (external) customer-facing demos
- Support the program manager in building, driving, and adapting the product vision.
- Support the program manager in all product-related reports to senior execs and stakeholders.
- Support the program manager in budget-related planning, reconciliation, and reporting.

- Maintain constant communication with your team to monitor project health and ensure projects are on schedule and meeting customers' expectations.
- Coordinate and synchronize across internal groups to design, build, test, and release software on time and with high quality.
- Maintain the prioritized product backlog, which provides team and stakeholder transparency to current and upcoming work.
- Retain the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
- Communicate schedule and quality expectations (team and stakeholders as required.)
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in Canada or US long term without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work remotely, or in one of Bastian s local offices
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time
- PMP Certification highly recommended
