Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Type: Direct Hire

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector. This is a fantastic direct hire opportunity for individuals passionate about utilizing their electrical expertise in a dynamic and expanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving pumps, electrical systems, motors, and valves.
- Perform maintenance on chillers, boilers, air compressors, and driers.
- Work with process equipment such as tanks and reactors.
- Install and manage electrical conduit, wire sizing, control wiring, and instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot valves and pressure transmitters.
- Ensure a thorough understanding of PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley.
- Knowledge of mechanical seals on drives and agitator drives is crucial.
Requirements:
- A strong electrical background with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience required; 5+ years preferred, demonstrating flexibility based on expertise and aptitude.
- Electrician certification is mandatory.
- Journeyman or apprentice status will be considered.
- Background in the chemical industry, experience with packaging equipment, and welding certifications (Tig, stick) are advantageous but not essential.
