Role Details:


Job Title: Kronos Business Systems Analyst

Overview: The Kronos Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing the Kronos workforce management system to meet the needs of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of Kronos software, business processes, and workforce management principles. The Kronos Business Systems Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure system settings, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support and training to end-users.

Responsibilities:

  1. System Configuration and Maintenance:
  • Configure and maintain the Kronos workforce management system to support organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Customize system settings, workflows, and interfaces to align with business processes and user requirements.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality.
  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Kronos system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for system configuration and development.
  1. Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Kronos system changes and enhancements.
  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate system functionality and performance.
  • Coordinate with end-users and IT teams to address and resolve any issues or defects identified during testing.
  1. User Support and Training:
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users experiencing issues with the Kronos system.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and workshops to educate end-users on system functionality, best practices, and new features.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Kronos-related inquiries and support requests.
  1. Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of Kronos system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies governing workforce management and timekeeping practices.
  • Participate in audits and assessments of Kronos system controls, processes, and data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a business systems analyst or similar role, with a focus on Kronos workforce management systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Kronos software modules, including timekeeping, scheduling, labor analytics, and workforce integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with system configuration, customization, and administration in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
