LTL Consultants, LTD., has a full-time job opening in our Oley, PA office for a Civil Engineer / Municipal Engineer.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering/municipal engineering services with a BS in Civil Engineering to join our municipal engineering team. LTL provides consulting engineering services to numerous municipalities in Berks, Chester and Montgomery Counties.
Essential Duties
- Civil and site design (structural design a plus)
- Ability to manage municipal clients
- Attend municipal meetings
- Stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design
- Review of subdivision and land development plans
- Construction observation and inspection
- PaDEP and PennDOT permit application preparation
- MS4 permit implementation and management
- Municipal ordinance and planning document preparation
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- P.E. License
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid PA Drivers License with acceptable driving record
Strong emphasis is placed on the ability to effectively communicate technical information, orally and in writing, in a professional manner to contractors, developers, property owners, employees, consultants, other governmental agency representatives, municipal officials and the general public.
