SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Production Coordinator will develop integrated project schedules, coordinate and integrate project schedule input from project managers and guide the baseline, update and time impact process throughout the project lifecycle. The position will require the ability to analyze subcontractor developed construction schedules and ensure consistent development of construction schedules according to sound industry practices. The production coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the operations department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage daily production calendar ensuring correct jobs and pricing; validate the back log is on the calendar and pricing matches.
  • Coordinate expense reporting, review for accuracy, reconcile with invoices and manage approval with GM and accounting.
  • Assist operations team with administrative tasks (i.e. dailies reconciling job numbers, hours worked, etc.)
  • Perform administrative duties as needed including filing, data entry, reconciliation, etc.
  • Manage PO process.
  • Inventory management.
  • Manage maintenance logs.
  • Coordinate with GM on daily truck deployment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required.

  • 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling and or administrative work.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to interface with multiple departments across the organization.
  • Knowledge in ERP. SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a dynamic chemical manufacturing or chemical blending environment preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office Software advanced Excel skills desired.
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Adept at picking up new skills and proficient at learning quickly.
