The Swift Group is looking for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our company. We are looking for a motivated individual with experience as an FSO in the Intelligence Community. This position is located at our headquarters in Reston, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact to USG Security Representatives for all related security matters
- Maintain security documentation and files in accordance with USG requirements
- Oversee, manage, and maintain all security functions in The Swift Group security profile
- Develop, implement, and manage organizational security policies and procedures for USG programs
- Create, maintain, and execute security policies and procedures
- Process visit authorization requests (VARs): Complete VARs in a timely manner
- Work with the Business Development team to develop and update compliant proposal security volumes and contract data requirements list (CDRL) documentation related to security items
- Assist employees with initiation, maintaining, crossing-over, and terminating personnel clearances
- Conduct security clearance indoctrination briefings and debriefings
- Assist organization and contractor personnel with preparing and submitting security processing paperwork
- Maintain security documentation and files in accordance with USG requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of related USG security work experience
- Experience as a Facility Security Officer supporting Intelligence Community and DoD programs
- Highly knowledgeable of USG personnel security policies, processes, and procedure
- Experience working with USG security databases
- Experience with DISS, NISS, and NBIS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills
- HS Diploma
- US Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance
